Is skydiving safe?
Driving to the airport has an inherent risk and so does skydiving. Great guides , equipment and planes minimize the risks. Here’s what you need to know.
How old do you have to be to skydive?
At least 18. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID.
Is there a weight limit for skydiving?
At Long Island Skydiving Center, our maximum weight limit is 250 lbs for guests. The weight limit for a great skydiving experience is 250 lbs.For customers weighing between 220-250 lbs, additional charges apply:
- 220-230 lbs: $40.
- 231-240 lbs: $60.
- 241-250 lbs: $80.
What is Long Island Skydiving Center's refund policy?
You can cancel up to 48h before checkin for a full refund of your deposit . You can reschedule up to 5pm the day before your skydive with no penalty or loss of deposit . The only circumstance you lose your deposit is if you dont turn up to your appointment.
What happens if there is bad weather?
As long as we have plenty of daylight ahead of us and there is hope in the forecast, we will wait it out! If necessary, we’ll reschedule or issue you a raincheck. No refunds.
Can I reschedule my jump?
Of course ! Call us to reschedule up to 5pm the day before. There is no “resechedule fee” etc.
Can I ride with my friends in the airplane?
Our aircraft can accommodate eight tandems per flight. We will make every effort for you to jump with your friends, however, physics and math sometimes work against us.
Is there a weight limit for skydiving?
220lbs . There is an extra charge for passengers between 220 and 250 lbs. $40-$80 depending on the weight.
